Time

Time, Still Life
Time
Charcoal and graphite on paper.

Millions of eyes have admired Venus de Milo throughout the centuries, Venus' look has witnessed them passing by and still she stands.
But a still life is life itself and responds to the laws of this world, like every one of us. The most famous statue will have to surrender to Time as well and slowly dissolve like a sand giant, one grain at a time.
This work is a meditation about Time, the most silent, forgotten, and precious of resources we have.
