I painted this during a plein air festival in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I loved the bright yellow house peeking through the front yard of another house. I walked down to the street to get a better view of the yellow house and discovered that it was all burned up and condemned. I'm really glad I painted it now because it probably won't be standing in a year from now.
