"playtime is over"

"Playtime is Over" is a poignant and thought-provoking painting that captures the transition from childhood to adolescence. In this evocative artwork, a young girl, (portrayed by my teenage daughter), sits on the floor engrossed in play with her Pinocchio marionette and Raggedy Ann doll. The juxtaposition of her youthful toys against her pensive expression conveys a sense of nostalgia and melancholy.
