A snowy winter is predicted. After roughing out shapes and setting out values quickly, I stopped. Winter was captured. In galleries, I am seeing viewers spend as much or more time analyzing my paintings than it took me to paint them. There's a place for the fifteen minute painting and the 125 hour painting, however unfair that seems.
