State Parks Cabin

This is an oil painting that I did while doing an artist in residence at Alaska State Parks. This is the cabin that I stayed in for the week. There were trees all around the cabin creating an idyllic setting especially when the light would shine through the trees. All the marks are made with palette knife and it was painted plein air.
