Solitary Colors
Through combining my love for traditional techniques with my storytelling skills, I have composed a self-portrait without my physical self included. I’ve always enjoyed producing colorful creations (like the crocheted scarf here), as well as gathering eye-stimulating keepsakes reminiscent of special memories to help ease my deeply depressive thoughts. In this painting, I’ve symbolized my attempt at preserving warmth and hope through creativity and self-expression, despite the feeling of unshakable melancholy.
