This plein air piece was created using acrylics on a sunny day in Dana Point Harbor, CA. The paint was thinned and applied very much like watercolor, on cold press watercolor paper. The versatility of acrylics are what appeals to me most in using this medium, as both transparent and opaque applications may be employed.
