Heading Out, Dana Point Harbor

Using thinned acrylic paint, much as in a watercolor technique, this piece was painted en plein air at Dana Point Harbor, near Dana Point, CA. Under sunny skies, I was drawn to the reflections in the water, and the movement of the central boat across that water.
