Golden Hour
In the tranquil embrace of Pirita beach in Tallinn, Estonia, my watercolor painting captures a serene moment during the golden hour of a July sunset. As the day gently wanes, a hushed calm descends upon the sandy shore, while the remnants of beachgoers' activities—scattered rocks and shells—adorn the soft expanse.
What struck me most during this tranquil interlude was the poignant interplay of nature's elements. As people slowly departed, leaving the beach to its peaceful solitude, the world transformed. Daylight gave way to the embrace of twilight, and yet, in this fading light, colors and shadows danced to life, inviting me to pay closer attention to the quiet magic of the sunset.
In this painting, I sought to capture this moment of paradox—a world winding down even as it awakened in vibrant hues and forms.
