This is an oil painting based off a plein air trip I took where I camped above a bay near a wilderness area. That night while sitting by the campfire I could hear another camper across the by playing the bagpipes. It was magical listening to the music as it echoed around the bay. I enjoyed capturing at atmosphere and mood of the night.
