This is a studio painting done from a number of plein air studies done over the past twenty years on the California coastline about 45 minutes south of Carmel. The view is north just north of the Rocky Creek Bridge on Highway one. I have painted in this location for many years as I can not get enough of the beauty of the area and this scene!
