North Fork Coeur d'Alene River at Yellow Dog Creek

I love spending long day trips up the Coeur d’Alene, exploring along the shore, and watching the water and light move. These underwater rocks were especially fascinating during this afternoon stop. I enjoy subjects that feel a little challenging to capture, it makes the process more engaging and if the painting accomplishes the feeling I was after, it’s extra rewarding.
