This is a dilapidated building I have painted plein air many times, and this is developed from one of them in the studio. What attracted me to paint it is that it still showed signs of someone having lived there, with the electric poles, windows and doors, some of them half open or broken. Nature was taking over around it, and I knew it would be pulled down in the near future.
